Amelia Winata is a Narrm Melbourne-based writer and curator. She has written for various publications and galleries including Art Monthly Australasia, Art Guide, Australian Art Collector, Memo Review, un, Shepparton Art Gallery, CCP and MUMA, and is a founding member of Memo Review.
Currently, she is a member of the un Magazine Editorial Advisory Committee and a Co-editor of EMAJ. Amelia was previously a recipient of the Gertrude Contemporary Emerging Writers Program (2015) and was the Sub-editor of un Magazine volume 11 (2017).
She is also a PhD candidate in Art History at the University of Melbourne. Her research is focused upon the work of German artist Charlotte Posenenske (1930-1945).
